I work under a nom de guerre when online: Hugo Junot. That's so people don't necessarily confuse it with my "real" name, which was my nom de plume that become too popular not to use as my legal name. Because my legal name at the time was actually just an adopted name, which somebody else had constructed and paid for... but in fact, my current nom de guerre, the one witnessed here, is actually quite close to what I was called before my adopted name, back when I was a baby.
Life presents many interesting circles and spirals like that.
One part of my parentage is mostly French, with a wee bit o' Irish, whilst another part of my parentage is mostly Iranian, some East Indian, with a wee bit o' Mongolian. By the time that I actually got around to meeting my blood relatives, oddly enough they pointed out the fact that I favor both the Irish and the Mongolian bits we share, and oddly enough my DNA analysis concurs.
Did I mention how much I love California? Oh, and in addition to the "interests" listed above, I also enjoy working via telecommute (read: from a coffeehouse), working in Russia at times, and chasing after a particular couple of auburn-haired little girls.
Once upon a time, I did something called "FringeWare" and many odd performance shows related to it, with many odd and interesting people involved. Once upon a time, I lived in Austin, and in Vancouver BC, and in the NYC area. Once upon a time was ostensibly quite a fun time.
